THE BIG LEBOWSKI

For a school exercise of reconstitution, we chose a scene from the movie The Big Lebowski, by the Cohen brothers, 1998. The exercise consisted of building the exact same set and make the exact same scene, in order to understand and approach construction techniques of a cinema set.

  • The first step was the script breakdown. That step helped to creat a construction plan of the set. Divided in 3 zones, the set gives an impression of depth.
  • The light plot allowed a reconstitution as accurate as possible.
